Backpack Meals
The Backpack Meals activity began September 22nd providing healthy breakfast and lunch items to students attending T.S. Morris Elementary and Southlawn Middle Schools. Meals are prepared and provided to 55 students on a bi-weekly basis.

AUM Food Pantry
The committee’s collaboration with the Omicron Mu chapter’s food pantry drive-thru collection was held at the Fortitude Building Friday, October 21, 2022. Four hundred twenty (420) canned items were collected.

Spooktacular
The Spooktacular event sponsored by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was held Monday, October 31, 2022 at the Garrett Coliseum. We were well-equipped providing over 4,300 treat bags to all attendees. We provided over 4,500 bagged treats to attendees for both events. The events provide kids and parents a safe option to trick-or-treat

Shred -It Event
In collaboration with AARP, the Fortitude Foundation and the Montgomery Area Food Bank, we participated in the Shred-It Event held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Eastdale Mall. This event provided a safer way to dispose of personal information and reduce the risk of becoming a victim of identity theft. Two hundred ten (210) cars attended the drive-thru event bringing shredding items and donating canned good items to the food bank in honor of Veterans Day

Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels activity began September 23rd delivering meals to 14 clients. Our designated day for deliveries each week is Friday. In collaboration with the Montgomery Council on Aging, wellness checks are conducted for those in need.

Trunk or Treat
The Special Needs Trunk or Treat event sponsored by the Autauga County Children’s Policy Council was held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Daniel Pratt Elementary School, Prattville Alabama with treat bags provided to175 participants in attendance.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
October is National Breast Cancer Month, a time annually devoted to providing education about the disease and the importance of early detection. Team Montgomery (AL) Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. exceeded the fundraising goal of $3,000.00 in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. Our fundraising total was $5,245.00. We ranked #4 out of 256 participating
teams. As we celebrated 85 years of sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action, 85-chapter members contributed to this worthy cause

Exodus Community
Community outreach education activities with the residents of the Exodus Community began November 14th. Monthly activities are held the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
