On behalf of the Montgomery (AL) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, I welcome you to our website. Delta Sigma Theta was founded on January 13, 1913, by twenty-two visionary women at Howard University to promote academic excellence and provide dedicated service to communities in need. Since our chartering in 1937, our chapter has carried this mission forward with steadfast devotion.

 

For more than 85 years, we have proudly served Montgomery, Autauga, and Elmore counties. Guided by the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, our programs provide scholarships for students, impactful service projects that uplift families, and civic engagement that strengthens our communities.

 

As we enter the 2025–2027 biennium, we remain committed to Reclaim, Elevate, Inspire, Grow, and Navigate as we REIGN with Purpose - expanding our reach and embracing opportunities to impact lives both locally and globally.
