The radio program ( Straight Church, No Chaser on Praise 96.5 FM) was aired to alert the Community about the Literacy Act in AL and solutions/ ideas to assist the students. The Act goes into affect 2024. According to the Literacy Act, third graders who are unable to read on grade level will be retained. Soror Brenda DeRamus-Coleman and Soror Claudia Mitchell were guest speakers and are members of Montgomery County Board Of Education.
